INGREDIENTS
( Serves - 2 for about 4 days :) )
- Rice flour - 5 small cup
- Gram flour - 3/4 cup
- Ghee - 10 tea spoon
- Chilli powder (to taste)
- Salt (to taste)
- Jeera
- Water
- Oil
PROCEDURE
- Mix Rice flour, gram flour, chilli powder, jeera and salt.
- Add little by little water till a dough is made
- Make sure the dough is not very hard or too watery. Should be little soft.
- Once the dough is ready, add ghee and knead it well to get it smooth
- Heat the oil in a pan
- Take small portions of dough in the muruku maker and press it (or rotate) and get the muruku of desired size
- Fry the muruku in oil (make sure to start frying once the oil is hot enough)
- Keep the stove in medium heat so that the muruku doesn't turn dark
- Enjoy with a cup of tea :)
- Store in an airtight container and can be used for about 4 days.
